Vicki
Anderson Granado, Principal
Vicki Anderson
Granado has more than 20 years of communications experience in corporate,
nonprofit and agency positions. Vicki has worked for many of America’s
most recognized brands in industries ranging from financial services
to health care and consumer products.
She formed Granado Communications Group as a strategic communications
agency, which today, is known for creating high-impact public relations,
marketing and advertising campaigns that get unexpected results.
The agency has also become highly regarded for its level of client
service and valued strategic counsel. |
Prior to launching Granado Communications Group, Vicki
worked for Fidelity Investments where she managed a team of public
relations professionals to conduct the company’s media relations
and marketing efforts in 30 states. She was also responsible for developing
marketing communications programs for Fidelity’s Private Wealth
Management and Retail Retirement divisions. While at Fidelity, she
was a registered NASD representative with Series 7 and 24 licenses.
Before Fidelity, she was with the American Heart Association – National
Center, where she developed communications programs with corporate
partners such as Genetech, Inc, the Bayer Co., Zales and others. Prior
to the AHA, Vicki worked in the public relations division of The Richards
Group, the largest independent advertising agency in the nation, where
she developed award winning campaigns for accounts such as Pier 1 Imports,
Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway, H-E-B Grocery Company, Frito-Lay
and Procter & Gamble.
She is also active in the community having served on the board of directors for Preservation Dallas for 6 years and the marketing committee of The Family Place. She is currently a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of Children’s Medical Center, the marketing committee of the Dallas Arboretum, The Dallas Friday Group, the Dallas 40 and Women in Energy.
Vicki graduated from the University of Arizona. She
lives in an “always under repair” 105-year-old house in
Old East Dallas with her husband Robert and their daughter Brooke.

Denise
Hodges, Account Executive
Denise comes to Granado Communications Group with
three years of experience in the nonprofit public relations sector.
She has a passion for writing and enjoys working with clients to
come up with unique and exciting story angles.
Prior to joining
the agency, Denise worked for the American Cancer Society where
she helped raise more than $1.3 million through the events she
planned and promoted in the DFW area. She coordinated the media
relations for each event, using print, television and social media.
Before
the American Cancer Society, Denise worked for Time Warner Cable
Media Sales where she coordinated an award winning breast cancer
promotion for Scott & White Memorial Hospital.
Denise is a graduate from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.

Cari
Kerns, Public Relations Strategist, Virtual Team Member
Cari Kerns has been helping businesses and organizations
effectively communicate their core strengths to the media, employees,
clients and business partners for 18 years.
Drawing on 11 years
experience representing three powerhouse financial services companies
-- Fidelity Investments, Fannie Mae and Countrywide Financial --
Cari advises clients through a variety of communication needs ranging
from public awareness campaigns to top-notch crisis communications.
She has developed a reputation as a hands-on, senior-level consultant.
Prior
to Cari’s financial services career, she worked for
two health care companies – UT Southwestern Medical Center
and Methodist Hospitals of Dallas – where she managed internal
and external PR and served as a media spokesperson.
Cari earned
her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the
University of Oklahoma and her master’s degree in liberal
arts from Southern Methodist University. |
Chris
Martin
Assistant Account Executive
Chris is the newest addition to Granado Communications Group. As
a recent graduate of Texas Tech University, Chris adds a fresh perspective
to the agency and brings a passionate enthusiasm for public relations.
He is responsible for assisting in the communications and marketing
efforts for clients across many industries including energy, healthcare,
finance and legal services.
Before joining Granado Communications Group, Chris
worked as a communications and public affairs intern at ConocoPhillips,
where he built his skills developing public relations strategy. He
also served as a communications intern at Lubbock Power & Light
for three years during college, where he gained market research experience
and assisted with all public relations initiatives.
